*Muleskinner with the Marine Brigade* reviewed in "Roads to the Great War"

A review of the book, Muleskinner with the Marine Brigade (Monongahela Books, 2025), about a teamster, Alpheus Appenheimer, with the Fourth Marine Brigade of the Second Division, A.E.F., just appeared in "Roads to the Great War," one of the oldest and most respected WWI blogs on the web. The book is the first in-depth potrayal of an American teamster in that war, and the review was written by the granddaughter of Major Edward Cole, who commanded Appenheimer's battalion.
